Educational Background
Dr. Wong's academic journey is marked by excellence. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Auckland in New Zealand. He pursued his journey in Women’s Health by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and a Diploma of the RANZCOG. He further his studies obtaining Excellence in his Master’s degree in Reproductive Medicine from the University of New South Wales. He completed his specialist training by obtaining his Fellowship with the Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologist through Monash Health and Barwon Health.
Professional Experience
Dr. Wong has a rich professional history, having worked in various esteemed institutions across Australia and New Zealand. He completed his advanced training years having spent 2.5 years with the Gynaecology Oncology & Gynaecology unit at Monash Health managing highly complex cases as well as contributed to medical education & training. Currently, he serves as a public Consultant Gynaecologist, at the Dysplasia Unit working closely with the GynaeOncology team at Monash Health, where he is involved in clinical governance, teaching, and mentorship.
Awards and Recognition
Throughout his career, Dr. Wong has received numerous accolades for his outstanding contributions to medicine. Notably, he was awarded the Most Outstanding Obstetrics & Gynaecology Trainee at Monash Health (2021), Monash Women’s Health Junior Medical Staff Award (2017) and the Dr. Ellis Dick Prize in Surgery from the University of Auckland. These awards reflect his dedication, skill, and commitment to excellence in women’s health and patient care.

Dr. Wong believes in a patient-centered approach, emphasizing clear communication, empathy, and personalized care. He genuinely cares for his patients and strives to make each patient feel comfortable and informed. He is also committed to understanding diverse identities and provision of LGBTQIA+ healthcare.
